From researcher to patient, healthcare innovation in Cité ardente

Logistically, geographically, economically and scientifically, Liège is ideally located at the heart of a dynamic region, ideally positioned at the heart of the Euregio.

Liège is home to over 140 Life Sciences companies, pioneers in the fields of oncology, cardiology, immunology, radiopharmacy and the development of cutting-edge medical tools. It also means over 350 million euros raised by 2021 and more than 4,000 jobs in the sector.

It’s also a unique scientific and academic hub, with a world-class university (ULiège), a university hospital (CHU) and a rich and varied hospital landscape conducive to the development of life sciences.

In this program, we look at PDC*line Pharma, a Liège-based company offering a therapeutic vaccine against lung cancer, as well as other innovative initiatives that are shaking up the healthcare landscape in our region.

A real revolution for :

  • Greater access to healthcare,
  • the development of centers of excellence,
  • and greater proximity for patients.
