Cycle evening

The ImagéSanté Festival is organizing an evening event on December 10, 2025 at the Cinéma le Parc in Liège!

This event, at the intersection of medicine, cinema and education, will feature the film “Muganga. Celui qui soigne”, addressing medical and societal issues such as mental health and rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Synopsis:

The film Muganga tackles certain battles that can change the course of history.

Denis Mukwege, Congolese doctor and future Nobel Peace Prize winner, treats – at the risk of his life – thousands of women who are victims of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His meeting with Belgian surgeon Guy Cadière is to breathe new life into his commitment.
