Introduction with presentation of cancer figures in Belgium

Types of cancer and their treatments:
– Solid cancers
– Blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, etc.)
– Hematopoietic stem cell transplants, cell therapy, presentation of CAR-T cell treatment, a revolution in cancer immunotherapy
– Clinical trials and innovative therapies
– The evolution of treatments, therapeutic escalation and de-escalation

Prevention:
– Patient education, population coverage, cost to the patient and overall cost of cancer in therapeutic terms, what financial investment should be made in prevention as a function of the Prevention/Therapeutic Ratio
– Breast, cervical and colon cancer: what about screening for cancers of other organs?

Supportive care
– Presentation of “supportive oncology care”
– Purpose and benefits of a wellness center in improving patient care
– Maintaining / resuming appropriate physical activity during and after treatment, and its positive impact on fatigue and recovery.
– Appropriate aesthetic care during treatment.
