Activities dedicated to schoolchildren

The Campus Imagésanté, located at Sart Tilman on the site of the CHU de Liège, is dedicated to promoting and raising awareness of health issues, and offers students a rich and interesting educational program.

ImagéSanté Campus promotes the intelligent popularization of medicine through :

  • Educational workshops and lectures for primary, secondary and higher education students;
  • Surgical operations broadcast live from Liège University Hospital, with commentary by medical students, surgeons and numerous guests.

In partnership with Printemps Des Sciences.

Educational workshops

These are 4 days during which health professionals mobilize to share with students the most accurate information in their field, in favor of better health and well-being for all.

New for 2025:

Primary school day :

A special day for primary school pupils at the Cité Miroir on the theme of the environment.

  • When: Thursday, March 27 at 10:00 am (SOLD OUT) and 2:00 pm.

Ça coule de source”: a multimedia show narrated by Alain Plas. Protecting our planet’s biodiversity, resources and treasures, better managing water and waste, changing our consumption patterns – these are just some of the topics covered in this fascinating show.

Lectures by Jérémy Guy and Stéphane Carapelle, both content creators specializing in popularizing science.

Thursday, March 27: Screening / Lecture by Jérémy Guy “De la science à la Croyance” (From Science to Belief)

The report traces the rise and fall of Professor Didier Raoult, initially recognized for his scientific discoveries, but discredited after promoting hydroxychloroquine without solid evidence, locking himself into conspiracy theories. It highlights the cognitive biases, ethical lapses and negative impact of his influence on public confidence in science.

Friday, March 28: Conference by Stéphane Carapelle (content creator) “Lucid dreaming”.

Lucid dreaming is a state in which we become aware of dreaming and can control our dream environment, a phenomenon that has been scientifically studied for over 40 years. This talk explores its therapeutic and practical potential, while providing concrete techniques for experiencing it.

Friday, March 28: Lecture by Kathleen Coessens (Director of the Conservatoire Royal de Liège) “Is the human condition artistic? “

The conference will explore the imperatives of creativity, improvisation and imagination that human beings manifest in all circumstances, even in the most extreme contexts. These qualities can become vectors of freedom of spirit, enabling each person to navigate through life’s challenges. This creative continuum can enrich our understanding of human experience through art, revealing new perspectives and fostering empathy.

Surgical operations

On campus, you can also watch live broadcasts of surgical operations with commentary by the surgeon. For those in the know, these broadcasts offer real case studies to observe, and for the uninitiated, a new vision and understanding of the human body.
