What will the plates of the future be filled with? Are edible insects tomorrow's lucrative new industry? Converting to entomophagy seems to offer nothing but advantages... Yet insect consumption raises issues of cultural representation, science, agronomic engineering and ethics. At a time of general awareness of the issues of food, sustainable agriculture, ecology and animal welfare, this documentary goes out to meet many of the people involved, whether industrialists, engineers or scientists, and questions our relationship with insects and nature more broadly.
