Writer, psychologist – Montpellier

After working as an actress, Sandrine Willems moved on to directing short films and documentaries (notably for Arte).
After that, screenwriting led her to literature. She publishes novels, stories and essays, in which the biographical question is central – dealing with mythical or historical figures, or her own life. From one text to the next, she continues to question the different forms of love. At the same time, after a doctorate in philosophy, she became a psychologist, and focused her research on relationships with the non-human, from animals to “gods”. Originally from Brussels, she now lives in Montpellier.
