Synopsis

Médiation is first and foremost a place, lost in the Massif des Maures, deep in the Var. In the midst of a dark, lush landscape, with a harsh but sun-drenched climate, a few makeshift buildings house a dozen homeless men, some of whom have spent several years on the streets, others severely handicapped by illness or accident. Some only stay a few months, others plan to stay for the rest of their lives. And with them, sheep, chickens, donkeys, cats and many dogs. Noah's Ark bringing together all types of galleys in a superb setting, Raft of the Medusa in the middle of the Azure Sea. But for those who come to seek refuge, Médiation offers new roots, including in the most concrete sense, those of the trees and plants that residents learn to cultivate.
