Synopsis

The film takes place in the Berlin lives of six young people at the dawn of adulthood, as they reflect on their time at an inclusive school - a radical concept at the time.
Some could be described as disabled, but they reject that label. As they discover the new lives they've built for themselves over the past twelve years, their focus turns to the ups and downs of life: love, work, doubts and determination. This gentle, entertaining coming-of-age film shows just how much the respect encouraged and fostered in the 5D classroom has grown over the years. The poignant moments of honesty and compassion take you by surprise throughout.
