Vero Cratzborn
Vero Cratzborn grew up in Baelen near the German border. After studying at the University of Liège, she moved to Paris to work for the Media Europa Cinémas program, then with producer Bruno Pésery on films by Alain Resnais, Olivier Assayas, Noémie Lvovsky and Claire Denis. A graduate of the Atelier Scénario at Femis and the Atelier Série at CEEA, she has taken part in several international training programs (MFI Series Lab, Writers Campus Series Mania and Atelier Grand Nord). After working as Leos Carax’s assistant on two projects and directing five short films, all of which were broadcast on television, she signed her first feature film, La Forêt de mon Père, which was selected at numerous festivals. She is currently developing her first series, Fagnes, 6 x 52 min, produced by Les Gens (Groupe Newen) for the RTBF series fund. She is working on Molécules, her second feature, produced by Tomsa Films with the support of Arte Cofinova, Pictanovo and the CNC rewriting grant. She is also co-writing a comedy with the support of the Grand Est region.
