Christophe Hermans

Director and screenwriter Christophe Hermans was born in Namur in 1982. In 2001, he joined the Institut des Arts de Diffusion. In 2005, Poids Plume, his graduation film, won several awards and was selected for over twenty festivals around the world. Since 2007, he has written and directed a dozen films (fiction and documentaries) that have been widely shown in cinemas, festivals and on television. In 2019, he shot his first feature film, La Ruche, with Sophie Breyer, discovered through acting workshops in front of the camera. Since 2012, Christophe has also been working as a casting director on feature films with a singular, incisive approach.
