Brigitte Pittet

Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Geneva and Consultant Physician to the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Geneva University Hospitals. His main areas of interest are craniofacial reconstruction, breast reconstruction and microsurgery. Brigitte Pittet is deeply involved in various humanitarian actions, and in particular in the fight against noma, a gangrenous disease that disfigures tens of thousands of children every year in low-income countries. She regularly organizes surgical missions dedicated to reconstructing the faces of these children. She has received numerous awards for her research activities, and is the author of numerous publications.
