Synopsis

In poetic images, a woman recounts, in voice-over, her daily life with her newborn baby. As the days go by, the illusion of happy motherhood gives way to tragedy. As a counterpoint to this account, caregivers: psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, etc. testify to a darker side of motherhood.
