After directing two short films, in 2006 Fabienne Berthaud made “Frankie”, her first feature film with Diane Kruger, who also made her acting debut. She then adapted her own novel “Pieds nus sur les limaces” for the screen: the film closed the 2010 Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes, where it won the Prix Art Cinéma. In 2016, his third feature film, “SKY”, starring Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus, was released. Alongside her work as a filmmaker, Fabienne Berthaud has written the novels “Un Jardin sur le ventre” (Prix Françoise Sagan 2011), “Mal partout” (Seuil, 2004), “Cafards” (Albin Michel, 1994) and the short story “La Voyageuse” (in “Les Malles”, Gallimard-Vuitton 2013). Her new novel, “Entre tes jambes”, is currently being written.
