Sébastien JODOGNE
His research work in theoretical computer science was awarded the IBM Belgium Computer Science Prize in 2002. From 2006 to 2011, he developed high-performance image analysis algorithms for several private companies active in the fields of machine vision, video surveillance and broadcasting. From 2011 to 2016, he worked as a medical imaging engineer at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Liège. His work on the free and open-source Orthanc software for medical imaging won the 2014 International Free Software Award from the Free Software Foundation, as well as the 2015 Best eHealth Project Award from the Agoria Federation.
Sébastien Jodogne has been made a Chevalier du Mérite Wallon and is one of the Digital Wallonia Champions. He is an adjunct lecturer at ULiège. He now works as CSO (Chief Scientific Officer) of the Osimis medical imaging spin-off, which he co-founded.
