Synopsis

Yu Xiuhua is a poet. And she's a woman from the Chinese province. What's more, she has cerebral palsy. Life isn't easy in a country that doesn't offer much to those who are 'different'. She writes, and her writing is fiery, sarcastic, frank and sensual. Liberating. Her poem "Crossing Half of China to Sleep with You" went viral on Chinese social networks in 2015, and suddenly she was known and recognized as an artist. This unexpected celebrity at the age of 40 offered her new perspectives, such as divorcing a husband who had been forced on her at a very young age, and the opportunity to travel and have a social life.

"Still Tomorrow" is a visual film, close to its protagonist, which accompanies Yu on her journey, showing us her contradictory, combative, ironic and painful facets.
