Coline Grando

Born in France, Coline Grando graduated from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion with a Master’s degree in Directing in 2015, with her graduation film, a short fiction Les Saisons. She directed her first documentary film La Place de l’homme produced by Centre Vidéo de Bruxelles in 2017. In 2019, she continues to explore the theme of abortion, but this time from the point of view of the doctors who perform it, with Les mains des femmes, a film commissioned by the Fédération Laïque des Centres de Planning Familial and the CVB. She has just completed a feature-length documentary, Le Balai Libéré, écoutez cette histoire que l’on m’a raconté, which questions self-management and current working conditions among two generations of cleaners. She also took part in a collective film Le souffle court (Short Breath) about the feelings of caregivers during the Covid crisis. Both documentaries will be released in 2023.
