Maryline Muytjens

A social worker since 2008, she first worked in the socio-professional and cultural integration department of a CPAS, before providing social support to workers in a Société Coopérative à Responsabilité Limitée et à Finalité Sociale (S.C.R.L.F.S.). She joined the Openado service (formerly C.I.P.R.E.A. – Centre provincial d’Information et de Prévention pour le Respect de l’Enfant et de l’Adolescent) and the Equal Opportunity Service of the Province of Liège in 2010, and from 2011 onwards devoted herself entirely to the latter service. Since then, as Equality Coordinator, she has continued to develop and organize projects to raise awareness of stereotype deconstruction and gender issues, notably through the organization of events and the creation of various tools. She is also keenly aware of the importance of cultural access and participation for all, including the disabled and senior citizens.
