Each screening is an opportunity to meet the film team, health specialists and representatives of associations concerned by the film’s theme, and to discuss the sensitive issues addressed, including the aging population, mental health-related suffering, overcoming disability, new technologies…<\/p>\n
The festival includes three competitions:<\/p>\n
In addition to these competitions, we have two cross-disciplinary competitions thanks to the support of our partners:<\/p>\n
These cross-disciplinary competitions will each reward a film dealing with the theme in question.<\/p>\n
Imag\u00e9Sant\u00e9 also includes some 50 live surgical operations, giving visitors the opportunity to see the work of our nursing staff, and to talk to the surgeons in real time.
These operations are part of the “Campus” component of Imag\u00e9sant\u00e9. The aim of the Campus is to offer a wide range of educational workshops and conferences on major contemporary health issues to the 4,000 students who come to the Faculty of Medicine to attend.<\/p>\n
Imag\u00e9Sant\u00e9 is also a year-round program, thanks to the Cycle.
It offers fiction films, systematically punctuated by a discussion linked to the film. The cycle is always an opportunity for rich, intense exchanges.<\/p>\n
