Its areas of expertise include medical informatics, computer vision and machine learning.<\/p>\n
His research work in theoretical computer science was awarded the IBM Belgium Computer Science Prize in 2002. From 2006 to 2011, he developed high-performance image analysis algorithms for several private companies active in the fields of machine vision, video surveillance and broadcasting. From 2011 to 2016, he worked as a medical imaging engineer at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Li\u00e8ge. His work on the free and open-source Orthanc software for medical imaging won the 2014 International Free Software Award from the Free Software Foundation, as well as the 2015 Best eHealth Project Award from the Agoria Federation.<\/p>\n
S\u00e9bastien Jodogne has been made a Chevalier du M\u00e9rite Wallon and is one of the Digital Wallonia Champions. He is an adjunct lecturer at ULi\u00e8ge. He now works as CSO (Chief Scientific Officer) of the Osimis medical imaging spin-off, which he co-founded.
